Meeting our community helpers, one neighborhood at a time
The Teddy Bear Clinic proudly participates in community outreach events that help families connect with local first responders in a fun and welcoming environment. Events such as Cone with a Cop give children the opportunity to meet police officers and firefighters, ask questions, explore emergency vehicles, and build positive relationships with community helpers. Check the Upcoming Events tab for upcoming event dates, times, and locations, as well as future opportunities to engage with our local police and fire departments.
Children meet local police officers over free ice cream in a relaxed, friendly setting — asking questions, collecting bracelets and coloring books, and getting to know the officers who keep their neighborhood safe.
We are planning more ways for families to meet the first responders in their community. Check the Upcoming Events tab for new dates as they are announced.
Dates, times, and locations for our upcoming outreach events are posted as soon as they are confirmed.
